Like everything Angels and Sages offers --a little of this Retinol goes a long way.

Apply all over face, neck and décolleté. Most people use Retinols in the evening. Apply after washing, toning and follow with your favorite moisturizer or serum.

If skin starts to become too dry, alternate with a more moisturizing lotion every other day. Please see our pro tips for more.

Do not mix AHAs (glycolic acid, lactic acid, malic acid, mandelic acid) and BHAs (salicylic acid) and Retinols. Don't use them on the same day. We tried that once. It wasn't good.

Retinol Serum for Dry Skin Natural Retinol Serum Anti Aging

Botanical Synergy

Three key ingredients in this retinol serum are:

Vitamin A is a natural retinol that stimulates collagen production within the skin. This helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles while increasing cellular turnover. Vitamin A retinoids are jam packed with skincare benefits.

Green Tea Extract helps to detoxify the body from free radicals AND helps protect the skin from damage. When paired with a Retinol, it helps your skin tolerate a higher concentration of Vitamin A (retinol) without irritation. If you think about it -- this is a huge benefit.

Horsetail (an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory) is an excellent natural source of silica. Silica helps your skin create collagen -- this helps your skin feel tighter and firmer and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

Pro Tips

Retinoids work deep within the skin's dermis layer to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

Most Retinols can be incredibly drying, we love this formulation because it doesn't dry out skin like traditional Retinols will. As with anything - caution your clients that if irritation occurs, to discontinue use.

It's important that your skincare products, and your routines are age appropriate.

This is because your cellular turnover (how quickly the cells on the top layer of your skin are replaced) changes with age.

As general rule, this means:

  • Clients under 30, will typically use a retinol 2-3 times a week at most
  • Clients between 31-45 will typically use a retinol product 3-4 times a week at most
  • Mature Skin may be able to tolerate and need retinol more frequently.
